DevDuo Myanmar built the Guitar Chords Store app (GChord) as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by DevDuo Myanmar at no cost and is provided "as is".
This page explains our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use GChord. Where terms are not defined here, they have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
GChord does not collect personal information such as your device name, IP address, or precise location for normal app operation. The app supports optional account registration and uses platform-specific identifiers to support machine learning features. Third-party services used by the app may collect data as described below.
Non-personal device information: We do not collect personal device identifiers for general app functionality.
To support our machine learning-based song recommendation feature, the app uses a pseudonymous identifier:
These identifiers are used solely to improve recommendations and reduce duplication in backend training data. They are not linked to personal information unless you register an account.
You can create an account in GChord. Account registration collects the username and email address you provide. If you create an account, your favorites and other account-specific data will be saved on our server and may be associated with your account credentials.
When you use the song recommendation feature, the app may send de-identified usage data and the platform-specific identifier to our backend. This data is used to train and improve recommendation models. Training data is aggregated and used in an anonymized or pseudonymized form.
The platform-specific identifier remains on the device until the app is uninstalled and the identifier is manually cleared. We retain associated backend records for as long as necessary to provide the recommendation service.
Users can delete their account directly within the GChord app. When an account is deleted, all personal data associated with that account — including username, email, and saved favorites — will be removed from our servers. Pseudonymous usage data tied only to the identifier may be retained in aggregated form for model training and analytics purposes.
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Links to the privacy policies of third-party service providers used by the app:
This Service does not use cookies to store information on your device for normal operation. Third-party content displayed through embedded services may use cookies according to those providers' policies.
We store identifiers securely (e.g., in the Keychain on iOS) and use standard security practices on our backend to protect data. While we take reasonable measures to protect data, no transmission or storage method is completely secure.
The app may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Please review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately when posted.
